Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 2:43PM Happy Last Week of Classes Regis Ranger!
Kudos to the folks who have sculpted the large “snowperson” in the
quad. Nicely done.
Events this week:
Thursday
Christmas Posada! 6pm, Chapel
Christmas Posada this Thursday the 8th of December. We will be in the
chapel at 6pm to pray the rosary followed by the traditional
“Pidiendo Posada” or “asking of the lodging”. After that we will have
hot chocolate and bread followed by the breaking of the piñata in
front of the Jesuit House. It will be such a good time and
interesting insight for those who have never been to a Posada! Come
join us! Sponsored by Mi Gente.
Thursday Thrills
“Elf” 10pm, Ranger Grille. (No, Legolas is not going to be signing
any autographs in the Grille… it’s the movie… silly.)
Friday: Christmas Party in Walkers. 5pm to 8pm. Free food, Walkers
will be open, win great door prizes, and Souled will be playing to
close out the last day of classes. Sponsored by the Regis
Entrepreneur Club, Karl Dakin, Sullivan Chair and advisor. Be there,
be happy…

Compassion by the Book Drive
Collection boxes are going out for the annual Compassion by the Book
drive. You’ll see them next week. Compassion by the Book accepts
your donated text books and turns them into donations for a good
cause. Donations made last spring resulted in a check made out to
the Red Cross of Japan for Tsunami relief in the amount of $1400.00
and another made out to the Ethiopia Community School project in the
amount of $2800.00. This semester’s charity is the Comfort Café -
located on Tennyson and 40th. http://www.thecomfortcafe.net/ The
charity was selected by RUSGA.
