Hey There Rangers,

Just about two weeks left until the much awaited and in most cases much needed Spring Break. However, before we can take a break, there is quite a bit of business to be taken care of, and when we mean business, we actually mean preparation to take care of the ‘business.’

Just so you know, PAC and SIC are busy away planning this year’s Ranger Week, and are going full force in preparation of the most important day of the week, Ranger Day. The Planning Committee is open to suggestions and any wants or desires anyone may have because when it comes down to it, it really is all about you Rangers! Please feel free to contact either Ariel Wooldridge, PAC Director at rusgapac@regis.edu or Tracy Goettsch, SIC Director at rusgasic@regis.edu.

On top of Ranger Week and DAY, the Elections for next year’s RUSGA President, Vice President, and Chief Justice will take place on Thursday March 1st. Debates will be this coming Wednesday February 23rd at 5:30 in Walker’s Pub, so please come on out, hear your classmates speak and listen to the next leaders of RUSGA! Also, on Wednesday at 8 pm in the Main Café, Speakers with Altitude will present Erin Weed who will be talking about Spring Break Safety!

PAC presents Stevie Starr for this week’s Thursday Thrills:

Alas Rangers, stick with it these next two weeks because relaxation and/or hard-work (if you’re going on an alternative Spring Break trip) is in the near future!

Hey Rangers!

Finally a Snow Day!

We hope all of you managed to avoid cabin fever and get out and enjoy the snow while it lasted.  After a great 3 Day Weekend get ready for a full week of great activities we have planned.

RUSGA Sustainability Committee has some great opportunities for you to learn more about how Regis manages our food intake and waste disposal.  Check out these great events!

What is PAC bringing you this week?

Hey There, Rangers!

Third week into this new semester and we are back to our daily routine. Well, don’t fall into autopilot just yet! Our new and improve Walkers Pub is hosting a Grand opening this upcoming Sunday, February 5th at 3:00pm. That is indeed Super bowl Sunday. Souled will be playing the hour before the game starts. There will be a football pool and shuffle board tournament with prizes; along with multiple opportunities to win the raffle—a ticket will be pulled every time out! Most importantly, there will be free food! Hope to see you there!

Do you have what it takes to become Student Body President, Vice President, or Chief of Justice of Regis University? Be on the lookout because application will be out this Wednesday (02/01)!

Another neat oppertunity; Regis’ student-run newspaper is coming back! Do you have experience with your high school or college newspaper? Are you interested in learning the ropes? If you are interested in being on The Highlander staff - either in a work-study or freelance writer/editor capacity (paid!) - please pick up an application in the Office of Student Activities on Monday morning (January 30). Applications are due Friday, February 3 at noon.

Don’t forget to come to Thursday Thrills this week, brought to you by PAC!

I am RUSGA. You are RUSGA. We are RUSGA

Welcome Back Rangers!

After a nice break (maybe too long for some and too short for others) we have just completed our 1st week in class, and we only have 15 more weeks till summer. May all your classes go well and may you get only A’s.

On another note, January 24th is the last day to register for intramural sports for this semester. We have Dodgeball and Volleyball. Check the regis.edu website for more information on how to register.

We will be back in the swing of things in no time, but for those of you who missed your weekly Chuck, here is a little bonus.

Chuck Norris owns the greatest poker face of all-time. It helped him win the 1983 world series of poker despite him holding just a joker, a 2 of clubs, a 7 of spades, and a green number 4 from Uno and a monopoly ‘get out of jail free’ card.

What can you look forward to from PAC this week?

I am RUSGA! You are RUSGA! We are RUSGA!
